Your informative summaries are good Canadian History 101 content that would be good reading for Secondary School Canadian History courses, I think, as jumping off points for further discussion. I taught History in the early nineties and had to scramble for up-to-date resources.

Thank you, Glen — your words go a long way in fueling the writer in me. How you see A Quiet Reckoning is exactly why I started it. I originally began writing these chapters for my grandchildren, to help them understand how Canada became the country they’re inheriting — and how it keeps evolving. Knowing it also resonates with teachers and lifelong learners means more than I can say.
